My Black Dog

I have a dog, her name is Lola. My husband Jake gives her to me on my last birthday. He gifts her to me because I always complain that I feel lonely sometimes when he had a business trip without me and our apartment seems too big for us. We just married for about six month, so I do feel miss him all the time. I left my job in LA to move with him here in NY. I haven’t found a new job yet, and Jake seems to be like it better this way, so he decided that Lola could be a lovely company for me because I always love dog.
Lola is lovely, she really cheer my day. But it is hard for me to leave her when I have to accompany my husband in a business trip. Her sad face always in my mind and I could feel worrying all day, it’s like having a baby you know? I couldn’t help feeling guilty having fun with Jake while she was alone in our apartment with our maid that come sometimes to take care of her. Jake was laughing at me, he said if I want to be fair than I could send Lola to a dog boarding kennel or a doggy day camp. It’s like a hotel for dog and they can provide trainer too, so when we return we can find a better Lola. I’m willing to follow his advice, try to look one of them that near to us from the internet. I found one pet boarding in Harrison Avenue and the trainer seems to be a lovely trained girl, I’m sure Lola will love her.
